You decide: Is there such thing as the best wrinkle cream?

by Jen Hopkins

For ages, women have been measured, judged and defined by their looks. We still speak of Cleopatra, who was said to divinely beautiful? Women have bestowed upon themselves shapely, beautiful bodies. Unfortunately, that beautiful taught, attractive skin we once had begins to wrinkle, and with wrinkles our beauty begins to fade.

Women purchase thousands of cosmetics on a yearly basis. It has been proven that among all of those aforementioned products anti-aging and anti-wrinkle cream is the most highly purchase. Science and technology has blessed us with great products and inventions. But one thing we all must agree on. There is one invention worthy of appreciation and that my friend is wrinkle cream.

Aging can be considered to be the curse of Nature. When a person grows old, his youth fades away giving rise to fine lines or wrinkles. Wrinkles are not that easy to deal with. Of course, you can use expensive skin care products, but you might not get the desired results in a few days.

Is there even a potential that the 'best' wrinkle cream can even be determined? I personally think that it varies from woman to woman. Just as your body chemistry is different from your friend's so is your skin. The products that work for her might not work for you and visa versa.

Advertisements are luring at times. But one cannot guarantee that the anti aging skin care product shown in an advertisement is 100% effective. A smart way to find the "Best Wrinkle Cream" is to read reviews on wrinkle creams. You can find such reviews on the World Wide Web as well as in fashion magazines.

You can also talk to a certified skin care expert (better known as 'dermatologist') in order to find out the nature/type of your skin. In general, the facial skin is of three types- dry, normal and oily. Needless to say, each skin-type responds to different skin care products. A wrinkle cream which is too greasy in texture would never benefit a woman who has an oily skin.

Switching over to alternative skin care products like 'herbal wrinkle creams' and 'Ayurvedic skin care products' can be helpful at times. Excessive use of chemicals can create problems for your skin. It is important to note that it generally takes 3-4 weeks for a wrinkle cream to control the development of wrinkles.

Women's minds are crowded with questions regarding their skin care and how to look and appear younger- Which wrinkle cream is right for me? Which anti-aging serum should I purchase? Basically it all comes down to one thing- what's my 'greatest' wrinkle cream might not be yours. But in our world, where we're beautiful, and we're women- the product that keeps us young, and makes us feel alive is the 'greatest' wrinkle cream on the market.
